The Ones We Don’t See - Supporting Animal Welfare at Featherstone High School

Three students from Featherstone High School - Anikate, Manmeet and Abhypal - came together with a shared desire to support animal welfare through their Charity Den project, The Ones We Don’t See.

After careful planning and outreach, the team organised a bake sale and information fair, inviting a representative from the RSPCA to attend and support the event. In the lead-up, they delivered assemblies to raise awareness across the school about the importance of animal welfare.

The event was a great success, raising over £200 and engaging both students and staff in meaningful conversations about how we care for animals. The project demonstrated strong initiative from the team and a clear commitment to making a positive impact within their school community.
