Sutton and District Training Theatre Visit - Inspiring Future Career Pathways

Students from Sutton and District Training recently took part in a visit to the Theatre Royal Brighton, offering them a valuable insight into careers within the theatre industry.

The visit began with a backstage tour, where students explored the history and inner workings of the theatre. One student reflected, “Wow, it’s all so old here. I’ve never been anywhere like this before.” The group then took part in a workshop on Greek myths, where they impressed staff with their existing knowledge of gods and heroes.

A big thank you to Jackie Alexander and the Theatre Royal team for hosting and supporting the students throughout the experience.

This visit forms part of the Give Us a Chance project, a collaboration between Sutton and District Training and KICK, aimed at providing students with enriching experiences that broaden their understanding of future career opportunities and build confidence.
