Brighton Buds

Charlotte, Harper and Bryony created Brighton Buds, a gardening club that brings students and care home residents together through the simple joy of working with nature. 

By planting, tending and growing side by side, the project builds connection across generations, fostering community and shared happiness.

LAET Got Inspired

Inspired by the connecting power of music, students at LAET organised an evening of night of music and socialising at their school that sparked intergenerational bonds between young and old. The event created moments of joy, understanding, and shared identity, showing how music can bridge generations. 

“During my care home volunteering, I saw how music helped residents with dementia remember songs and dance with joy. That inspired us to bring the same experience to our school.” — Huseyin
