Stars Like Dust
In 2014, KICK sponsored an exciting project at Dormers Wells school in which sculptor Raj Dagstani, working with the school and students, designed a large sculpture which was later manufactured and permanently displayed in the grounds of the new Dormers Wells buildings.
Students took part in a workshop led by Raj producing mixed media sculpture based on the Dormers Wells motto ‘Opening the door to success’. Each piece of work was presented at a gallery-style exhibition on the final day in the Dormers Wells auditorium.
The project was reported in the Ealing Gazette, as well as having its own site with snapshots of how the workshop for the students progressed.

A galaxy of ideas…
Raj refined final designs for the sculpture based on themes and ideas developed in the workshop. Here you can see the construction and completion of the sculpture which now sits in the grounds of Dormers Wells School.
